Praetor “Lothreal Sabine” and Herald “César”

I started to paint two of my HQs. Both are from the MKIV Command Set from Forgeworld.

I started with a foundation of Mechanicus Standard Grey. Afterwards I used Ulthuan Grey. The grey colors makes it easier for the white to shine. With only the white on the black primer I always have black spots in the white. The next steps are about four thin layers of Ceramite White followed by thre thin layers of White Scar.

The banner will get the left decal in the end. I hope I can put it on well. The other will found another bearer. 😉

Fulgrim’s Wrath nearly finished (Imperial Knight 1)

The Knight is nearly finished! I only need to add some battle damage.

I magnetised the shoulder pads and their counter part to give them better hold.

Only the sword needs to be painted. It won’t need much more time. I will give you some shots afterwards of my first painted Knight.

WIP Hellflayer of Slaanesh

I started painting the hellflayer.

First I primed the chariot with Leadbelcher. When the color was fully dried out I washed it with Druchii Violet. It didn’t look enough unreal and the highlights werent visible. So I brushed it with Necron Compound. Afterwards I washed it again.

I think it is now looking like metal out of the warp. A bit shiny with a purple glimmer.

First Hellflayer of Slaanesh

Today I built my first Hellflayer of Slaanesh that I got for Christmas. The spikes pierced my finger. Slaanesh would approve.

I glued the steeds on the base. I will paint them first, afterwards the hellflayer. And last I will paint the daemonettes and glue the leader on the hellflayer. Both with the whips I will stick with magnets on the steeds to make the transport easier.

Tomorrow I will prime everything and start painting.
